What is it?
These courses are designed to support school staff and anyone looking after a child living with Type 1 diabetes to better understand their care needs.
This is awareness training and is not designed to replace individualised care given by a child's or young person's hospital team.
DigiBete have collaboratively developed this platform and it is brought to you by JDRF UK, Diabetes UK, The National CYP Diabetes Network and the Leeds Children's hospital.
Who is this platform for?
This platform is for anyone who looks after a child or young person in the UK with Type 1 diabetes. This platform will support you to gain a better understanding of managing Type 1 diabetes in school.
